Our high grade lubricants are designed specifically for various metals, plastics and wood. When used with our pneumatic applicators, only ounces per shift will be used. Since the small amount of atomized lubricant is consumed in the cut, there is no over-spray, resulting in a dry, safe, working environment for the operators. There is no clean up or disposal costs associated with our environmentally friendly products. The heat from the cutting process is transferred to the chip resulting in cooler tools and work-pieces. This is a proven cost saving technology that has been used successfully in several industrial applications.

There are many complications that may arise in the industrial setting of machining various materials. Our process of Minimum Quantity Lubricant (MQL) can solve many of these issues. Traditionally, flood coolants are used to quench the tool and work piece in many applications. The main problem is many water soluble coolants offer minimal lubricating properties. Water by nature is NOT a suitable lubricant, it merely quenches the heat or tries to minimize it after it occurs, but does very little to reduce the friction in the cutting process.
With dry machining there is no lubricant to protect the part and tool, no barrier to reduce heat build-up, no means to prolong tool life. These problems are eliminated in near-dry machining with minimum quantity lubrication and precision application of the atomized lubricant to the tool’s cutting edge.
